At our core we are a parent support group. We do our best to ensure that parents have access to reliable information to help them make informed decisions about their children. Every month we hold a face to face meet up for parents and carers of children who have ADHD. This year our February meet up includes a medication talk.
Our monthly meet ups are an opportunity to chat to other parents in a relaxed and informal environment and we sometimes have guest speakers. This month our Michelle will be delivering a talk to our parents and carers about ADHD medication.
Michelle is generously delivering this talk because we know that medication is a topic that lots of parents have questions about. There is lots of conflicting information online and lots of parents have benefitted from having this very complex topic explained to them in “layman’s” terms, by an expert with a friendly face and lived experience of parenting a child with ADHD.
As usual there is no charge and no need to book in advance, but we will be starting the meet up promptly to ensure that Michelle has enough time to deliver the medication talk and answer questions.
The meet up will take place at The Dog and Partridge pub from 7.00 pm. The full address and a Google Map is available on our 2024 Meetings page
Our monthly newsletter is usually emailed the day before our monthly meet up and always includes full details along with any changes to our usual format.
