There are two SEND Consultation Information Events for parents and carers. There has been a lot of information about the proposed changes and the consultation process is the opportunity for families to have their say and potentially influence the changes that are delivered.
The first session will take place on 22nd April at the Stockroom in the Town Centre, while the second will be held on 6th May at Independent Options on Marbury Road in Stockport. In Stockport there are two events, which are unfortunately both scheduled for weekday mornings. If you would like to be involved, but cannot attend the sessions, please contact the organisers as there are usually alternative ways to feed into the process.
More information about the local events including directions is available on the council’s event website. Feedback from local parents is important as it may also feed into Stockport’s local SEND Reform plan.
