The UK Government has recently published a White Paper about changes to support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), which includes children with ADHD.
Organisations like ours have been eagerly awaiting the proposals to change education for children with additional needs. There are laws that affect our children and although proposals have been made, those laws have not changed. There is a 12 week consultation period that ends in May and parents, young people and charities like ours have an opportunity to share our views.
We have included links to information on other websites about this topic including the full white paper and an easy read version from the Department for Education’s website.
