Happy ADHD Awareness Month!

October is officially ADHD Awareness Month. Here at S.P.A.C.E. we like to celebrate ADHD Awareness all year round, but in October everybody else joins in and the message gets a lot louder. October is ADHD Awareness Month! October is ADHD Awareness Month. As many of you know SPACE is ran by a small team of volunteers. We use our professional skills and knowledge to support families with ADHD. This week is National Volunteering Week, which seems like a good time to talk about the challenges of managing a task of this size, with the constraints that come with running a busy organisation with such limited resources. NICE Guidelines

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) provide national guidelines and advice to improve health and social care and this month they released a new set of guidelines for Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD / ADHD) These new guidelines update and replace the previous guidelines from 2008.
